Pet Travel Scheme (PETS)

In order to control rabies, there are rules about taking a pet outside of the UK and returning back to the UK. The Pet travel Scheme (PETS) is a system which allows People in the UK to take their dogs to other European Union (EU) and certain non-EU countries, and return with them to the UK without the need for quarantine, providing that certain rules are met. Your dog must be vaccinated, micro-chipped and you should obtain the necessary paperwork required for a Pet Passport.
