Dog Walking for the Elderly and Disabled

Bramcote Dog Walkers can either assist elderly or disabled people in taking their dog for a walk, or take a dog out whilst the owner stays at home.

People who are eligible for long term Social Care have a Personal Budget, which they may be able to use to pay a dog walker. This will be subject to an assessment by a Social Care Worker, with a support plan and agreed goals.

Self Directed Support is the way people who are eligible for social care decide what support or help they need, and who provides that support.
