Dog Walking Services
Bramcote Dog Walkers provide dog walking services in the Beeston, Bramcote, Chilwell, Long Eaton, Sandiacre, Stapleford, Toton, Trowell and Wollaton areas in Nottingham.
We have over 30 years experience in caring for dogs. Let us help keep your pet happy with a dog walk on the local park whilst you are out at work.
Bramcote Dog Walkers is a fully insured dog walking service. With your permission, your dog may be walked with other dogs at the same time.
Dogs have varying energy levels, so we only walk compatible dogs together.
Young puppies require individual walks and are walked for a length of time suitable to their age.
When out walking dogs, we encourage socialisation with other dogs and their owners. A lack of socialisation can cause fear and aggression, and is therefore an important part of dog walking to keep a dog happy and well behaved. We love taking dogs to some of the wonderful local open spaces where they can safely run off lead and enjoy splashing about in streams and puddles.
We do not currently offer regular dog walking services on Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays, but we may be able to do occassional weekend or Bank Holiday walks for regular customers. Please note that when booking Bramcote Dog Walkers, you agree that any member of our team may walk your dog. New dogs are assessed for friendliness towards other dogs and people, boisterous behaviour and recall ability by the business owner, and may then be delegated to a team member.
Please visit our FAQ page where you can find answers to common questions about our services. We have experience with many different breeds, from small to large, including puppies from 8 weeks of age.

Why Your Dog Needs to Walk
All dogs, no matter how small, have an instinct to walk outdoors. If the dog does not have that basic need fulfilled,
he may suffer from anxiety and cause damage to your furniture! Lack of exercise may also cause hyper-activity and aggression towards people and other dogs. Young dogs should not be left alone for more than 4 hours and need exercise to burn off their excess energy.
Recommended Walk Times
Small and low energy dogs require a 30 to 45 minute walk. Puppies, older dogs or those recovering from surgery may only need a short walk, with some time spent with them in the house or garden. Other dogs should have at least 45 minutes. Dogs should ideally be walked 2 or 3 times per day.
Aggressive Dogs
All friendly dog breeds and puppies are welcome at Bramcote Dog Walkers. Please note that if your dog is not good with strangers, he is unlikely to welcome a dog walker to the house when you are not there. A growl can very easily escalate to a dog bite. So, if a dog growls when approached, or barks aggressively as we leave the house, he will not be accepted for dog walking.
We do not walk dogs who are aggressive towards people or other dogs. If a dog shows aggressive behaviour, this may result in immediate termination of dog walking arrangements. Please seek advice from a dog behaviour specialist if your dog shows signs of aggression.
